Getting started

Step 1
Create your family nest
Sign in, tap Nests, choose Create nest and give it a name (e.g. "Sadu Family"). You get an 8-character invite code to share.

Add family members
Manage → Share invite. Pick WhatsApp / Telegram / Email / SMS - the app pre-fills a nice message. Each member installs and joins with the code.

Set safe zones
Places → +. Search the address or drop a pin, set radius, save. Enter/leave alerts fan out to the family gently.

Grant permissions
Allow location always, notifications, and disable battery-restrict for SafeNest AI. This is what makes background tracking survive Doze mode.

Frequently asked
Will SafeNest drain my battery?
No. Adaptive polling: while you're moving we send GPS every 30 seconds; when you're still we send just one heartbeat every 15 minutes. That's ~30x less activity during idle hours. Crash detection also sleeps its accelerometer when GPS says you're not moving.
Can I hide my location?
Yes. Two options: turn on Ghost mode from your profile (hides your pin for everyone else temporarily), or set a Privacy zone around a place where you'd like to appear as "private" to family.
What happens when I press SOS?
Every family member gets: a red full-screen dialog with alarm sound, a push notification, and an email with your coordinates + Google Maps link. All in under 3 seconds.
What data is collected?
Location pings (lat/lng, battery %, network type, accuracy), messages you send, and check-in photos. No microphone recording without your explicit tap on the mic button. See Privacy policy for full details.

Common admin tasks
Grant a comp subscription (e.g. for a Play reviewer)
Admin → Subscriptions → find user → Set tier "Family" → Expiry: 2099-12-31. This unlocks every module and is what you MUST do before submitting to Play (see also the Play Store submission checklist).
Configure AI daily quota per user
Admin → Settings → AI. The default is 30 requests/user/day. Bump to 100 for heavy testing or set to 0 to disable AI entirely.
Approve or reject a pending nest join
Admin → Approvals. Click Approve to add them to the nest and send a welcome email; click Reject to send a soft rejection.

Send a Diwali greeting to every user next week
Super → Scheduled greetings. Tap the "Diwali" template to pre-fill title + body. Set the date/time, choose channel = "Push + email", audience = "All active users". Save. On the scheduled minute, cron delivers it to everyone and marks it delivered.
Generate a fresh promo tagline using AI
Super → Prompt library. Filter to "Promotion" tab, pick "Refer a family" or "Annual plan discount", tap Generate. Refine the output, copy, paste into wherever you need it.
Add a new custom prompt to the library
POST /API/SN_PromptLibrary.ashx with { action:"add", category, title, promptTemplate, exampleOutput }. Or edit SN_PromptLibrary table directly. The Super → Prompt library page auto-picks it up.
